I wish Coop could have parted under better circumstances, but I bear no hard feelings towards him.

I think that was part of the problem bro. What I love about Tressel is that he will not expose his team against some JV squad from Cali (see SDSU). Cooper didn't have that type of reasoning IMHO.

I could almost forgive (not forget) much of the bad luck against Michigan and the letdowns in lesser bowl games after losing those games.

The Michigan State game I will never forgive, or forget....given the expectations, the talent, and the opposition, I think it was the worst loss in school history, and one of the biggest choke jobs ever.

That said, I met Cooper a couple of times (very briefly)...he was always affable enough, and treated people well. And he could certainly recruit, albeit not so much from Ohio.

I HATE that loss...but I don't hate Cooper...he just wasn't a gameday coach...plain and simple.

Wow... It would be incredible to have Coop as the offensive + recruiting coordinator, then have JT as the head coach, and keep Heacock as the defensive coordinator.

It still amazes me that in 4 short years, Tressel has more Michigan/Bowl wins than Cooper had in 13 years.
