I think that, typically, anyone who would post on a message board is on the fringes of the fan base. Message board fans may be more rude to other teams' fans than typical fans might be. And, the fact that they can say virtually anything about other teams, without penalty, gives them no reason to be "classy."

Buckeye Planet may be more civilized than other message boards. But I think a Florida fan would get similar responses from some Buckeye fans on here.
