Florida 38, Arkansas 28 (final)

Thanks to dav713 for this post from Tellshow:

Nov 27: Full update completed. If USC wins they will be in. Does UF have a shot if USC loses? Below is how I see the computers if USC loses - a tie between UF and Mich. Therefore UF will need to pass Michigan in the human polls for a chance at the MNC. Based on the voting so far this year, I think only a blowout win in the SECCG would do the trick for UF...Maybe even that won't be enough to sway the voters.
Team ST RB WC KM JS PW BCS Ave
1 Ohio State 1 1 2 1 1 1 1.00
2 Michigan 3 2 3 3 2 2 2.50
3 Florida 2 3 1 2 3 3 2.50

I don't normally ever root for Arkansas, but I am now. In the event of a rematch, I don't want there to be any doubt that Michigan is the only deserving team. If Florida wins but Michigan goes to Glendale, the bitching and screaming and river of tears from Gainesville would be beyond unbearable, and deep down in my heart of hearts, I'd kinda know they have a point.

Right now 14-17 Arkansas trailing Florida. What a weekend of football. At this rate we will have a perfect BCS storm, it was not designed with the basis of having two players, from the same conference, appear in the title game.

Unless Florida reels of many unanswered points, I do not see how the voters, (if of good conscience) and certainly the computers, can put the Gators ahead of an 11-1 Michigan for the second spot.

I don't like that, I don't want that, but that is the way this is shaping up tonight.
