it's a ways off. Can't find the article but season one exhausted every song they have, so they're apparently back in New Zealand trying to do some more. I think it will take longer than usual from what the article said plus couple in the writers strike so who knows?

Variety says next summer coupling up with Entourage again but the article is from August. I think the one I read was from October.

'Conchords' begins filming Season 2
Good news for all you Jemainiacs and Bretaphiles: The boys are back in New York City and filming the new season of HBO?s ?Flight of the Conchords.?
I just received an HBO press release that says production has begun on the 10-episode Season 2 of ?Conchords.? It is set to air in early 2009.
For those of you who haven?t watched the hilarious show (and shame on you!), it follows the adventures of the New Zealand music-comedy duo of Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, ?who live on New York City's Lower East Side and split their time between seeking venues where they can perform and awkwardly courting women. Sometimes finding it easier to express themselves with music, they're apt to break into song at a moment's notice.?
The first season of ?Flight of the Conchords? has been nominated for four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series (James Bobin) and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series (James Bobin, Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie).
