Minnesota Golden Gophers: They'll take 3-0, no matter the foes

Victories over Northern Illinois, Bowling Green and Montana State shouldn't get any respectable Big Ten team too excited.
But considering the disastrous 2007 season Minnesota experienced, no one should fault the Golden Gophers for celebrating their 3-0 start.
A year ago, they went 1-11 under first-year coach Tim Brewster.
Psychologically, he said, it has been important to taste success.
"Without question, it was huge," Brewster said. "Change is a difficult process. But our kids bought in and worked so hard to improve as football players and people. I'm just pleased to see them rewarded for their hard work."
