FAU 4th and goal on the 6 yard line kicks a field goal down 30-14. Cant wait to hear the explanation on that one.

It extended the game (in a sense). If they come up short on 4th the game is over. By kicking the FG they got points on a higher percentage play, and got a chance at an onside kick. By doing that, they'd have to score again and recover a second onside kick to really threaten MSU, but the move removed the need for any 2-point conversions in what remained of the comeback attempt.

- Try for a TD (long odds to begin with in that situation), get a 2-pt conversion, onside kick, another TD, another 2point conversion.
- FG (sure thing), onside kick, TD, onside kick, TD.

I think with the time remaining on the clock the FG basically ended the game. Obviously they weren't playing to win, that coach has no balls
