2025 FL WR Jaime Ffrench Jr (Texas Commit)

I read the article and saw the Lamborghini is part of a dream deal (Mine too if I was in his shoes). But he also says that development and preparation for the NFL is the real ticket for him. He says NIL is great but the on-field issues are what really matters for him. Sounds like my kind of kid. Am I missing anything?
He brought his dream deal being Lamborghini, coming off of a visit to UT, a school well known to have multiple players with Lambo deals. Yes, he said a bunch of other stuff in the interview as well. But the first part speaks the loudest, and he knew what he was saying. He knows that OsU hasn’t had ANY deals with Lambo, and I can assure he knows the type of car that JJ drives as their former teammates and I’m sure talk.

From that interview, and knowing the background information, hes not really my kind of kid

Now could this recruitment reverse and make me look foolish? Of course, and I’m ready to eat all types of crow(and will even season it with hot sauce) if he doesn’t become a Buckeye in the end. But right now, he’s saying all the right things to become a Longhorn, and it’s not really a secret

According to On3, Ffrench's family "needs to see more" of OSU to feel comfortable with him going so far for college...
I think that's his way of saying that OSU is last on his list at this point

RB, somehow doubt that Petey or Satan would be a consultant for the Buckeyes under any scenario (don't believe money is a motivator for either). Kinda like the rumor of Urban to Xichigan? Pipe dream, but certainly not reality.

Per Tom Loy article:

Really interesting quotes from Jaime French in a Tom Loy article today. This is what he said when asked how thing were with OSU after he named Texas his leader publicly -

"Man, things were iffy," said Ffrench with a laugh. ".They are still in the race. They are still recruiting me. They are still staying on me. I'm just making sure my key points get answered that I have problems with.

"It was just family-oriented vibes," he added for clarity when asked about those problems. "That's it. They are still really high in my recruitment. That's just it. Just getting those questions answered."

Also in that article said he now refuses to name a leader cause it messes things up. Do we think “problems” = $$$ ?

You can't get every kid and you don't want every kid. You want a kid who wants to be part of Ohio State, its tradition and legacy. Sounds like Ffrench wants something else, especially if he doesn't feel family here and it's just about the first thing players and parents talk about at Ohio State. I wish him well in his one and done or whatever dreams.

Jaime Ffrench Jr. leaves OSU off top 4

Not that it’s a huge surprise to anyone who has followed five-star 2025 Jaime Ffrench Jr.’s recruitment over the past few months, but the Florida prospect left Ohio State off his final four less than a month before his commitment.

Ffrench will commit on Aug. 30 and choose from a group consisting of Miami, Texas, Tennessee and LSU.
