Miami Still On Top For Peete

Peete said Ohio State is his number two school and Louisville and Florida State are tied as his number three school.

Peete hopes to take official visits to Miami, Louisville, LSU and Ohio State this fall. It’s unclear which of the schools Peete named are actually pressing for a commitment right now though.

Peete says he hears from Buckeyes wide receivers coach Zach Smith.

“He’s a great guy,” Peete said. “He likes my athletic ability and my size. Ohio State is a great program. They produce great wide receivers. Me and my teammate Damon (Arnette) are thinking about going up there when they play (Virginia Tech on September 6) during our bye week.”

Peete Liking TE Position & Four Schools

Soon enough, likely by the end of the month, Peete will be making a decision about his future. Peete said Monday after practice that he is down to four schools – Miami, Florida State, Ohio State and Louisville.

Peete likes the Buckeyes in part because “they recruit a lot of great receivers and big tight ends”, but he also admitted that he hasn’t spoken to Ohio State much since the spring.
