I love that one. I wonder what the people down in South Florida think of him.
Talking to my Canes buddy, he said that Lyles was their 3rd option. Jarrick Gibson is supposedly their #1 option followed by Stacy Gage. And IMO, they will lose Gibson to UT and Gage to OU or UF. So in a few months they’re going to really be hurting with the loss of Lyles

Cane's loss is our gain. Do you get the sense this is a solid commitment though? I have a bad taste in my mouth for Florida RB's that bailed on us recently, but have no actual insight on Lyle.

Beyond the Florida RB PTSD I have, I also just have a hard time believing that Peoples, SWD and Lyle all land here...of course I hope they all do, I just have seen that never pan out in recruiting. Especially when two of them are from Texas and Florida. I think Peoples is about as solid as a commitment gets, but just curious if him and Lyle can happen in one class. Labeling this as pure speculation, but I am wondering if this is a commitment to get more attention from Miami or another southern school, which is why I asked.

Well, everything is possible in the NIL era. But I think this is a solid commit, especially with UF having 2 RB commits, FSU having 1 and Miami having 1 and pursuing others harder((and let's not forget about Miam's NIL guru facing financial issues with his company). I would've been worried about landing Peoples and Lyles, if Alford didn't sign Henderson and Pryor a few years ago. Also, SWD shouldn't be counted as a true RB, but an ATH, and won't find a true position for a few years in the program. But Alford has to make up for 0 RBs in '23(and no, the PWO OSU got doesn't count).
