Ohio State offers two talented DL from the 2025 class in Brandon Brown and Zahir Mathis, and 2025 DE London Merritt puts the Buckeyes in his top 12.

While Brown does not hold a 247Sports composite ranking yet, he has various standout Division I offers, including Georgia, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and USC. As of now, Brown said Ohio State ranks as one of his preferred destinations.
“They are up there,” Brown said. “I have mostly everyone in the country now, but I was waiting on Ohio State. I love how they get guys to the league.”
In Brown’s sophomore year, he recorded 36 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, six quarterback hurries, three pass deflections, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
