If this column sucks, it’s not my fault …the left side of my line ran off the field and Ashton Youboty got a free shot at my kick.

The Yosemite Sam Award that goes to the man who was able to yell the loudest and get the angriest without cursing goes to Michigan State head coach John L. Smith. His halftime rant to/at ABC’s Jack Arute about the blocked field goal that went for an Ohio State touchdown would’ve been the most memorable moment of the season if it didn’t fall on the same day as that USC - Notre Dame thing. Only Kennedy and Khrushchev during the Cuban missile crisis had their fingers closer to the button than the ABC censor did last Saturday.


Sorry this column sucked, but it wasn’t my fault … the players played their tails off, but the coaches screwed it up.

It IS amazing he didn't cuss. He was SOOOOOOOOOO pissed! And rightfully so. Can you imagine the difference between him and Tress put in this exact same situation.

Yeah, only Saddam Hussein hid his weapons better than Jim Tressel, but Ginn Jr. appears to be sleepwalking so far. He’s way, way overdue for a big-time kick return.
