Florida just landed a verbal from the nations #1 OT this weekend. I wonder if that will influence Tim Tebow at all. He was at Florida on another unofficial visit along with Myron Rolle, Jamar Hornsby, Carl Johnson (commit), Marcus Ball, Sam Young and others. Rumor is that Tebow was putting a good word in for UF with other recruits.

I would bet that playing with Hornsby and joining other key recruits would matter more than a key lineman... the kid is looking at USC, UM and a bunch of other places which have been landing top OL recruits for years. BTW, I would not use rivals early rating system to nominate the best at any position. No doubt Johnson is incredible, but Rivals' top100 is rather suspect due to glaring omissions.

Interesting that Tebow said the best part of his trip tp UF was the coaches. He said that everyone bonded really well with them.
