First Forecast With Snow

BuckBackHome

Wolverine is largest member of weasel family
I just checked the extended weather forecast to see if the weather will start cooperating for fishing with some cooler temps and rain. Well, they are now calling for snow showers next Monday. I guess that is cooler, but not really the precipitation I was looking for. It was only a matter of time since there was some frost on the lawn yesterday morning.

Always better than a hurricane!

Anything is better than a hurricane! Go away Wilma.
We have had the calm after the storm. It has been warm, almost hot, and dry since Rita. It is cool in the AM and that is when I am out working in the yard. This will probably be the lowest rainfall in October on record.

I miss autumn and the cooler weather. I never was fan of heavy snow but it could get as cold as possible and it never bothered me. My wife is from Kansas and I threaten her everytime a recruiter calls that the job is in Ohio or Minnesota. I actually did get a job offer right after Katrina for Ohio but it was not the right opportunity.

I remember Ohio as being rainy and cold. Enjoy it now as I expect most will be tired of it by February.

there was really never more than an inch of snow on the ground all of last winter in columbus. The only real winter weather we got was that ice storm, which was fun...but we used to always have snow on the ground before christmas...now not so much. Global warming my friends...global warming.

I bet the weather is nice in Glendale :)
