fire in downtown cbus?

just out of curiosity but about 5 minutes ago there was a big plume of smoke emulating from downtown. i am at the university so it is too far away for me to tell what it is but something very large is on fire just a bit west of downtown.

looks like the aftermath. guess it wasn't as big as i thought but it was smoking like mad.

i guess it was a housefire and the house was being constructed and one of the guys saw started the fire and then the house burned and the adjacent homes also received damage as well. happened on 8th street.
