1st perfect game in Mariners history
1st time there have been three perfect games in one MLB season (P. Humber, M. Cain)
1st time a team has been the victim of a perfect game and had one of their own pitchers throw one in the same season. (P. Humber)
The Rays have been on the losing end of a perfect game in three of the last four seasons. (M. Buerhle - '09, D. Braden - '10) Three of the last six perfect games have come against the Rays. They were also no-hit once in that span (E. Jackson - '09).

I noted in the Reds thread that I was at the Reds game last night.. they were playing the perfect game live on the big screen at the park. It was cool seeing everyone except the batting practice pitcher and hitter watching it. They gave no fucks about the potential fly balls headed their way, they were just watching history unfold. It was cool.
