I thought Adam played pretty well last night from what I saw. He was always around the ball and took good angles on the ball carrier. I don't think he is OSU material but he will make a nice player somewhere. He just doesn't have the athleticism and speed of guys like Klein, Whiting, Ferrell, Studlien, etc.

Talks about the thrill of winning a state title and about his play this year. Has started getting more frequent mail from OSU in addition to Illinois, Northwestern, Stanford and NC State.

I didn't see this one coming, but I'm always a fan of player who can get a scholarship offer from Tressel this early in the process.

I'm not saying I don't think he's OSU material. I just know that most of the talent evaluators on this site weren't expecting an offer to come.

OSU decided to offer, and to offer this early, and that's probably the best indicator of him being OSU material than anything. Five years ago, I might have wondered if he got an offer because his brother is already at OSU. Today, I don't think there's any chance that his brother being a current player had anything to do with it. The coaches see something that they like, and they're going after it.

Kid is a top notch player in a great program at Coldwater and can play potentially LB or FB (where I project him) and gets one of the first 10 offers. I am surprised he got one so early but he is OSU material.
