Seems crazy now, but my grandparents lived about five miles away. Sometimes I'd be on my bike and just decide I wanted to go see them, so I did. I'd show up - sometimes they weren't home so I'd just continue my joyride and head home, eventually. If they were there, grandma would call mom and tell her I was there. No one put the bike in the car and drove me back. Mom just told me when to be home and I'd ride back then. All grandma wanted was a call once I got home. These days there'd be an Amber Alert every time I did that. :lol:
