Five or ten years ago when he was doing SEC prime time games on ESPN? OK.

Now? Not a chance. It has been a rapid fall from the top of Pat Summerall-proportions. There's a reason Franklin's been demoted to doing Toledo/Colorado games on Thursday nights.

I like Musberger-Holy Buckeye,Madden-MNF is not the same w/out him, and Cris Collinsworth. Gus Johnson is great for hoops, and Jeff Brantley is an excellent addition to the Reds booth-he knows his pitching cold, and explains it well.

Don't know if they've been mentioned, but I've always enjoyed Jon Miller and Joe Morgan calling baseball games. Lately things haven't been the same, as in years past, but I think that is a classic tandem with good voices, intonation, and insight. Morgan knows baseball, and Miller can call a good game. Even if they are ESPN.

The guy on around the horn said that gus johnson is the bengal's personal DJ this year. I thought that was kinda funny. I like him doing the games. He is one of my favorite announcers by far.

I'm trying to think of a favorite and I honestly don't know. But I honestly don't like many of them, choosing a favorite is difficult. Gus Johnson can be annoying to me. An average dunk could happen and we'd hear "WHOOOOOOOA OMG HAHAHAHAHAHA LOL!!" Just way too over the top sometimes.

I do like Al Michaels and Paul Keels (homer vote). Nessler is alright.

I like Steve Lavin from ESPN. Random. Bobby Knight is pretty excellent too. Neither are really play-by-play though..
