It is hard to beat getting out in the ocean in a two person blow-up boat.
Thus, far, I have not encountered any sharks.

I did hit a snag one year. The Lakers were playing in the finals. I have my boat outside by the hotel room door. I heard a couple of kids come running by, but I did not think anything about it. A couple of minutes later, the guy next door knocked and said he saw for kids run off with my boat. The game was in OT, by the time it had ended, the kids, along with my boat, were long gone.

Lesson learned, keep all blow up items either in the room or on the balcony.
Stay in a condo.
