For anyone else interested, in the early 90s (when Thump and I were in HS) there were some college students from Florida (I think) that would take people's pink flamingos and hold them as ransom as a prank. Pretty harmless. So when we caught wind of this, we had to do our version of it.

That's lovely. I've got a number of those in my backyard as well.
Regarding pink flamingos- when my sister was in college (Purdue) she had a friend who made a "Flambong". He took a flamingo, cut a hole in the bottom and then a small hole in the beak, and used it as a beer bong.
