Did you know...?

The name PEZ comes from the first, middle and last letters of the word Pfefferminz... (German for peppermint - duh) It was originally a breath mint marketed to smokers in Austria... the first PEZ dispenser was shaped like a cigarette lighter...

Why do I know this? Well, my dad was a pack rat and saved clipped newspaper articles about things he found interesting... I came across that one while going through some stuff with my mom over the weekend...

So... there's your candy lesson for the day. :)
