The Ohio State Fair has a doughnut vendor near the entrance that makes them fresh. Damn those are good.

Italian sausage with peppers and onions for me too, though fried cheese with the tempura batter is a close runner up, not as big of a fan of the fried cheese in corndog batter, but any port in a storm

Since the Fayette County Fair starts here in a few days (last week of the month), and I'm sitting here getting hungry, this sounded good:
