That's tough. I'll have to go with funnel cakes, but corn dogs and elephant ears are right up there.

Had to go with the funnel cake.
We went Sunday afternoon but didn't stay very long since it was packed assholes to elbows with people, being the free admission day and 70 degrees outside. Got an elephant ear and some lemonade shakes though, so it wasn't a complete waste. Monday night, however, we went back and bought the rugrat a wristband so he could ride the kiddie rides all night long. He'd get on a ride, I'd go buy chicken tenders. He'd get on another ride, I'd go buy a corn dog. On the way out, I bought a Jimmy Jawbreaker. I probably dropped $20 making myself sick on fried fair foods. But what the hell, it's just one day a year, and it's all so delicious!

While "fried cheese" is usually the correct answer to just about any question, I'll go with other. How about cinnamon roasted almonds? mmmm....gebrannte Mandeln...
I kind of like apple fritters, too, though spicy sausage with peppers and onions sounds pretty good right now, as does a bratwurst piled with sauerkraut.
Damn, now I'm hungry.

When I was younger I loved those deep fried veggies, but I can't even walk by the trailer now without getting heartburn.
