I just saw it for the first time this month, and was surprised at how well it holds up for an oldie--with the small exception of some low-tech special effects here and there.

My favorite, though, is the "Muppets Christmas Carol" with Michael Caine as Scrooge. I just always like those Muppets movies.

I've seen it a hundred times. Cry every time George Bailey finds Zoo Zoo's petals in his pocket

But I have to say that I seek out the Alistair Simms version of "A Christmas Carol" every year.

"An intelligent boy!'' said Scrooge. "A remarkable boy!"

How the Grinch stole christmas, the animated version, not that Jim Carey nightmare. Bad Santa has quickly gone up in stock as well.

Miracle on 34th street my parents really seem to enjoy, and Yogi's first Christmas was my favorite Christmas special when I was a kid.
