Favorite Blackberry Applications

I know quite a few of us use a Blackberry, so I thought I would start a thread, that's probably already here but I have been drinking, so I didn't search, don't you judge me!

Here are some of my favorites:

Slacker Radio (http://www.slacker.com) Free!
Great Streaming Radio Application, they have some good stations and a lot of variety.

Tetherberry (TetherBerry | The Web Anywhere) 40 bucks at the moment, may be more soon.
I was in the Beta on this program, if you tether with your phone it's nice because it doesn't use your carriers tethering service. I pay 15 bucks a month from Verizon to tether so I can always reach my network on my laptop if I am out. Reality is that I need to access the network maybe once a month, but I still pay for the service. So for 40 bucks, this thing became a life saver, works out to about 3 bucks a month instead of 15 over a year.

What are your recommended apps?

A few obvious ones:

Opera Mini | The most popular mobile phone browser in the world goes without saying.

Google Maps Mobile is also nice for those on VZW who do not wish to pay for GPS functionality (built into the phone I bought ). It approximates your location based on radio tower triangulation.

I paid $7 awhile back for VibRing (to add the ability to vibrate and ring at once, thanks blackberry ), but it looks like there's a free option now:

Yeah it downloads fine from the Net. Just not from the BB

There's a hack to supposedly make your GPS work correctly on Verizon, I have the PDF if you want to check it out, I haven't gone that far yet since I have a magellen GPS that's about the same size as my BB.

It's pretty cool, streams actual radio stations, it's free for the beta, I am waiting to see what the monthly charge is. Being in server rooms and nocs all the time I love being able to have music on my BB, and listening to songs I have just doesn't seem to keep me entertained when I am trying to figure out switching/routing issues.

I really don't need GPS I just need 'near me'. I can figure out the rest well enough.

I'm definitely going to give a few of these a try, especially the radio. The multimedia functionality of the iphone has been very alluring, but the VZW network is superior.

The streaming has been really reliable, I have been using slacker at work all day, except for mornings where i use RC to listen to a local morning program. It's nice to see that BB is competing with the iPhone in that aspect.

The only reason I have a GPS is for support calls on the side, otherwise, I am over it. I was paying the 10 bucks for the Verizon one but it kept leading me down toll roads when I told it not to, so I got irritated and saw a GPS for 40 bucks on a refurb and just went that route. I am hoping that Verizon will give up and just let people have the access, since they are touted as the business network, one would think they would have that feature there for business users.

Google Sync is pretty awesome, actually, all of the google mobile apps are pretty awesome, but sync is great since I don't want to lock onto our BES network since I have it locked down I use the BIS service, and wanted the auto sync feature for my contacts and calendar, and it does that with my gmail account.

Mine work quite well over the VZW 3G network. I wish we had wifi though.
