Favorite Bar in Columbus

I miss that place badly! I love all their beers (minus the sissy pilsner), but my favorites are their Scottish Ale, Cherry Porter, and their Barley Wine.

Mmmmmm.....

I cannot wait to go back over the holidays!

They did have a pumpkin ale once that was a bit iffy, but they were brave enough to try different brews and I was brave enough to try them.

I've never tried the pumpkin ale. That must be a new one. I love their Christmas Ale, though. I forgot to mention that one in my "favorites" list. If you want to get really fucked up quickly, try a couple snifters of the Barley Wine or Winter Warmer!

That IS a good Xmas ale. I don't think they distribute to the Boston area, but I'm hooked on Rogue's Yellow Snow Ale (drinking that right now).

Do you like Bell's beers? That's one brewery from M*ch*g*an that I really like.

Bell's is good. There is another local place called Founder's that has some pretty good stuff. West MI does have a good number of microbreweries.

You could not get Great Lakes for a few years up here, but there seems to be a new distributor and it is in many more stores than before.

Oh they still are top Notch.
Prefer the Russian Imperial Stout myself.
Im not fan of Brothers or Gaswerks, not my "crowd" you could say.
Zenos is a cool place (they have Stroh's) or Paninis, Ugly Tuna Saloona is pretty cool too.

Nice avatar Rowdy, heh
