Favor to Ask: Take Bible Trivia Quiz

I was hoping most of you could take a few minutes to take the Bible Quiz I posted on this site.

Next month, I will be starting a Bible Study at my church with my brother-in-law. As part of assessing the current knowledge of the congregation, we gave the quiz I have posted here to everyone in the assembly. They were not allowed to use their Bibles when answering the questions, and not one person in the congregation got 100% correct...even the minister missed one. The overall average was only 52%.

The quiz here is slightly modified for the format and is a bit easier (plus we gave people the option of honestly selecting "I don't know" for each question), but I still would like to compare the results between a group of people with random affiliations to the Bible and our Bible-centered church.

Look on the top menu bar...almost all the way to the left is a "BP Quiz" option. Just click on that, then click on the Bible Trivia option.

Dude, I got a 35%. Wow...after 13 years of private, Christian education, I thought I would have done better.

What is the purpose of this quiz? To me, the quiz was aimed specifically at knowledge of biblical history, as opposed to knowledge of the bible itself. I'd do better if it was strictly biblical knowledge as opposed to specific historical and geographical questions. Although I must admit, I F'd up the "youngest son of Jacob" question, I knew that, but my mind processed the "coat of many colors" and I clicked Joseph...

15%'s pretty good considering I guessed on every question but one.

Well that was an interesting quiz! I'd think twice before joining that Bible Study seems like it might be preparing you to become the next Pope... a whopping 45% here.

Ok, I need to pay more attention in church. 2nd guessed myself 3 times, not that it would have helped my score much . I think I got 3 correct. Sad, sad...:frown2:

buckeyegrad, I just came up with a much simpler 10 question quiz...I'll need an admin to approve it, but I'm curious to see how people do with mine. You may want to review it first to make sure I answered my own quiz right, though...
