Hard to believe this thread isn't even one page and the MJ thread is over six already. We were at our local bar and there was a 30 min "breaking news" coverage of all the people gathering outside the hospital MJ died in, than a 2 min spot about Farrah. :shake:

Not sure why it's so hard to believe. Jackson was a bigger celebrity and his death was unexpected. Farrah's battle with cancer has been well documented.

Gotta agree, NBC ran that special a few weeks ago about her and got really high ratings. I think people were "ready" for the farrah death and kind of looked at it as she is in a better place, Jackson was a huge surprise. If you notice Farrah and Ed Mc. got about the same coverage, while Jacksons has been much bigger.

Ryan O'Neal wishes he'd never had children and is so estranged from his own kids that he didn't recognize his actress-daughter Tatum -- and shamelessly flirted with her -- at Farrah Fawcett's funeral, the actor admits in an explosive new interview.
"I had just put the casket in the hearse and was watching it drive away," O'Neal, 68, said, "when a beautiful blond woman comes up and embraces me. I said to her, 'You have a drink on you? You have a car?' She said, 'Daddy, it's me -- Tatum!'
"I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it's my daughter," O'Neal said. "It's so sick."
