The settings and draft time can be tweaked if necessary, I just like these settings because you score a few more points when you start 2 qb's and use 25, 10, and 10 yards per point for qb, wr, and rb. I could change the draft date and time if a majority of the guys can not make the set time of 7:15 pm on Aug. 24. I know from experience that it is nearly impossible for everyone to make one of these live drafts, but I want to make sure those of you that obviously want to participate have the chance to attend the live draft as the league is much more fun when you get to draft your players. I thought Aug. 24th was a good date because it is toward the end of preseason so you will have a better understanding of position battles, injuries, etc. Of course, if you can't make the draft but still want to participate, you can join and prerank your players and have Yahoo draft for you. You do run the risk of getting some crappy players drafted for you this way, sometimes Yahoo can really pimp you even if you have thoroughly preranked your players.

Like I said before in the other thread, I am willing to change some of the other settings in the league if enough guys want a change. I know Lazlo expressed interest in using fractional points in order to get exact point totals...

8 would work, 10 would be better, and 12 would be ideal. We must have an even number of guys in the league or else Yahoo won't allow the live draft to take place as scheduled. No need to worry yet though, we still have almost 4 weeks until the draft...

If you need another person to make an even number, I'll join. I doubt I'll be interested enough to follow it closesly, though, and maybe someone else will have more fun with it. Someone send me a PM if it's getting close to draft time and you need someone.
