Fantasy Football - BP III - We Need Players

uh, no they don't. The league administrator can set it up as he sees fit - the last two seasons I've been in Yahoo leagues (BP II and BP III) with one starting QB. Again, I'll deal with situation now, I'm just voicing my opinion about the setup.

I set up the league with 2 starting qb's and is the same set up that I have done with the other leagues that I have been commissioner of. In my experience, most players like the 2 qbs because it leads to more points and more exciting matchups. And yes, with 12 teams in the league with every team needing 3 qbs because of bye weeks, then 4 teams would have backup qbs as of now. So in reality that affects 8 total games played as everyone has 2 starting qbs that will only be sitting during their bye weeks. But do you really expect all 32 qbs to go through the year not getting injured? There will be opportunities to get starting qbs off the waiver wire this season guaranteed.

As for the league setup in general, I gave everyone a month to look at the league setup and suggest changes before the draft. In fact, I changed all suggestions because this league was supposed to be about what 12 Buckeye fans wanted in a fantasy league, not just what I wanted. But I would have to say at this point, the setup shouldn't be changed as people (those that showed up for the live draft) drafted players according to the current setup.

I am glad to see you are on the other side of the bracket! I am hoping for Alexander to return to his 2005 form because I am so glad I took him before Tomlinson. :!

Let me know what you think about settings and draft time. I got the time closest to the 1st week without being during business hours. Of course everyone who was in last year has first dibs, but if other people are interested just say something in this thread and it will be first come first serve filling the slots of anyone who isn't playing from last year.

You better believe I am in, I have to defend the inaugural BP III title! Thanks for setting this up again, Lazlo. As for the settings, I don't think very many people liked the fact that two qb's started every week. I personally think that starting 2 qb's is fine when you have a 10 team league because everyone could have 3 starting qb's to rotate in case of injuries, bye week, etc. It don't matter though, like I said, more people like the 1 qb per team and that is fine...
