Current starting lineup for week 3

Maholmes
Gurly,M.Gordon
Hopkins,thielen
J.Graham or Jared Cook
Flex-T.Coleman
Defense-Bears

Issues:
Other then the heavy staples(Gurly,Gordon,Hopkins) I’ve managed to mold my team from trades/free agency fairly well Imo. Week 3 brings my toughest matchup who will more then likely be a final 4 opponent.

Jared Cook or Jimmy Graham at TE? Cook has looked extremely athletic when targeted,but with a gimpy Aaron Rodgers it could be assumed that Jimmy Graham could be targeted heavy.It just seems Graham is an all or nothing(red zone) player and produces very little besides that.

Also I have the option of picking up Robbie Gould as my kicker. I know these seem like small moves but every point counts. Thoughts? Thank you

I think with as solid as the rest of your team is with Mahomes, Gurley, Gordon, Hopkins...

Go with the guy with the highest floor. Take what you can from the TE vs risking the all or nothing. Whatever pts you get from TE plus the rest of roster production, should have you sitting nicely.

JMO,Freeman is out this weekend ATL. That's why I picked up coleman as my flex.
107 yards on 16 carries,4 rec/18 yards last week against CAR.ATL is playing N.O this weekend who has a horrible defense against the run. He has a pretty high projection(which means little to nothing,of course).


Desean Jackson has been on fire if he happens to be a FA in your league. Tampa Bay plays Pitt who has shit pass D as well.Fitz will light them up. Not a long term solution,but it depends on how big the game is you are playing.

Is it a bonehead choice to start a QB,when your opponent has mulitple players from the same team?

My opponents team:

K.cousins
Connor,kamara
A.brown,Beckum
Gronk
Diggs
Boswell
Jags D

Started Ben last week and he put up just as many points as Maholmes. My issue here would be in order for Ben to do well there is massive chance that A.Brown,and Connor would have to do well. Tampa bays defense is shit. So points will be scored.San Fran isn’t exactly great either (Maholmes opponent). Thoughts? Thanks

No. Who they have shouldn’t matter in this situation. You start the guy who you think will score the most. His guys will or won’t score what they score regardless if you started their QB or not. If his guys catch 3 tds, would you rather get the 3 tds too? Instead of starting a diff qb and then only getting 2, possibly.

Between Ben and Mahomes, you have good options but the only choice here is who you think will do better. You not starting Ben will have zero affect on whether he and Brown and Conner have good games. You’ll just miss out on the action if they do.
