Fantasy Football Advice

In my big money league my team sank like the titanic in the finals. Lost by over 30 pts- playing against Peyton, Charles, and the friggen cinci defense did me in.

In the other league I'm up 2 pts and I have Dawson vs 49ers defense. 50/50 shot IMO. I need alt's offense to show up tonight.

Working from home today. On my second monitor I have Fantasy SoS listings, depth charts for listed positions, camp notes, etc etc.

I figure since I'm not playing against any of you (or... am...I?) it would be healthy to get some discussion going.
I'll start off with my potential 1st round pick. Since I selected top 5 last year, that's what I'll go with now.

1) Jamaal Charles
2) Shady
3) AP
4) Beast Mode
5) A toss up. I'd love Foster, but he can't stay healthy. I could see Forte'. I don't trust Gore, Lacy, Gio. I'd cringe at Megatron this high.
However Detroit's secondary is a wreck and they might have to score some serious points.

Mid round gems: Keenan Allen, Jordan Reed, Toby Gerhert, Reggie Bush, Hartline, Eric Ebron, Zac Stacy & Jared Cook.

Just got my first draft order of the season. Picking 9th. That's no-man's land and I might actually try to trade down.

edit: That would be the money league. I do have another, a keeper league. My keeper choice is between Breesy or Graham. I'm leaning towards the former because aside from a couple unfortunate throws, the points I get when Brees goes against Atlanta and Tampa are hard for my opponents to match at that position. Last I checked, the dirty birds are still going to be atrocious on defense.

That's rough. I myself was looking at Foles but I think Tannehill is going to have a better or equivalent year in a later round.
Remember that Nick is in a running offense. Obviously can't complain with Megatron. Percy and Watkins? You're banking on two injury prone WR's in
run first offenses.

Stacy was a snag a round 4. Doug Martin will get the lions share of carries, lets see how his health holds up.
Ertz is the TE I'm looking at in the 7th-8th. Some combination of him and Laderius Green or Jordan Reed at the flex will get you TD's.

Everybody is passing on New England's defense in the 3 mocks I did. I'm taking either them or the Brownies late and both are going to surprise people.

I see you did pick up Green. Honestly I have a feeling you're going to be swaping out either Percy or Watkins for Amendola and putting Green at your Flex.
If the Oline shows up for the Rams, Bradford was on his way to a career year until they got him killed. Fix that, you might be switching out QB's too.

Ok folks

get to choose 1 Keeper, our rules are have to be drafted in the 5th 7th round or later, and you lose that round of draft pick this year....
Jordy Nelson - 6th
Rashad Jennings - FA
Michael Crabtree - FA (originally 12th by someone else)
Martellus Bennett - FA (originally 11th by someone else)
Philip Rivers - 17th
Kenbrell Thompkins - FA (originally 10th by someone else)

My initial thought was Nelson but seeing that I had Jennings & Crabtree

thoughts?

Edit: Confirmed with commish some of the rules... JOrdy is out... damnit...

FA = 5th rounder
everyone else = draft round - 2.. so Crabtree = 10th, Bennett = 9th

Is none an option?
Yes None is also an option

You think Rivers will be a top tier Fantasy QB this year?

Right now I'm leaning Bennett, 9th round for a possible tier 1 upper tier 2 TE isn't bad
Here's the rankings i'm going by

Rank Player Name Bye Week Best Rank Worst Rank Ave Rank Std Dev ADP
41 Rashad Jennings 8 17 60 41.18 9.40 41
44 Michael Crabtree 8 7 98 45.09 15.30 46
107 Philip Rivers 10 75 170 112.94 18.98 115
120 Martellus Bennett 9 81 168 124.00 19.13 125
