Sorry, busy at work.

I set the "a" league up this morning. I PM'd last years crew. So far everybody has said yes except one person. Cleve is in the league (I think, no confirm from him yet).

Let's fill the two leagues then create a third (we will need a third).

For those that want to play and have not posted yet, go ahead and post if you want to be in a league... we still have room for more folks...

I made up a third league on yahoo for the rest of us: IronBuckI, Misanthrope, CriticalSteve, stxbuck, tones3778, Golferdow01, BigSlick, and 5 more who want to join(post in this thread after you signed up with the info provided).

I kept the same draft time as the other league Aug. 20th 10:30 am.


I also switched the settings a little from the defaults, but can put them back at default if people want. Not sure how people will feel about this. here is what I have: changes include a 7th bench spot, negetive points for missed FG's, .25 pts per reception, defense gets credit for punt/kick returns, waiver time is only 1 day, no waivers directly following the draft, No playoffs(I hate when i kick ass all year then have one bad week 15 and I'm fucked for the league, i also feel like a shmuck winning the opposite way), and thats it I'm pretty sure. Let me know if you guys want defaults or instead to add stuff like having a defensive player on the team. or a WR/RB spot. I'm down for what ever

Gotta have playoffs you big whiner. Either put it in week 14 and 15 or in 15 and 16. Whatever's available. Just not 16 and 17. I don't want the fuckin' BCS crowning a champion in this bitch. Top 4 is usually a good idea. Any more than that, and they probably didn't have season good enough to deserve being in the playoffs anyway.

The other problem with no playoffs is half the league will quit coaching their teams when they think they have no shot.

If we get at least 12 teams I recommend the 6 team playoff. That way, the top 2 teams get a reward (a bye) for their stellar season and more teams have a chance to get in the playoffs, which will keep everyone coaching their teams longer. Just a thought...

Quick question. With the bye in the first round of the playoffs. Do our players actually rest in their real games, and recover from all of their bumps and bruises? Or do they still have to play that week? I would really like it if my guys could go ahead and sit out that week.:biggrin:

For BP Deuce, I had a 6 team playoff as well. Didn't really mess with any other default settings, although I did add a W/R spot to the roster. I looked this morning, and only two others have signed up...WTF? Get on it, people! :biggrin:

I can change the settings as well if people want. The other thing to remember about the playoffs is that you can get fucked after kicking ass all year. Last year I got screwed because the Eagles sat McNabb the last two weeks of the season, so I didn't get any production out of him in the playoffs.

I'm in over on the Deuce. I'm running 3 browsers now so that I can always be logged in on all my yahoo accounts. I can't wait until golf and baseball are over so that I can drop my other account that I use for fantasy games.
