Go with Beanie, Taylor doesn't know the system yet, so it won't affect him this week... plus I would think Beanie gets goal line carries over Taylor. Taylor is the back up too, this isn't going to be a rb by committee.

Ok pick 2

Wes Welker vs Miami
Colston vs GB
Stevie Johnson vs KC
Stevie J

Welker

I'm starting Marques Colston in my W/R spot, but I don't know if I should put Michael Bush, Ben Tate, or Thomas Jones in there. I'm worried about Marques facing that Green Bay secondary.

The only one to even think about here is TJ against Buffalo, but I say Colston.

Need 2 WR's out of the following...

Hines Ward vs BAL
Lee Evans vs PIT
Brandon Marshall vs NWE
Braylon Edwards vs SEA
AJ Green vs CLE

Braylon got fined 50k for substance abuse yesterday but looks like he'll be playing. Right now I am starting Marshall & Ward until I see how Lee Evans and AJ Green perform (1st year in BAL and rookie so wait and see...)

Marshall and Edwards, this one is actually a lot less difficult than I think it looks like on the surface.

Definitely Stevie and Welker of those 3.

This might sound insane, but I am thinking about starting Beanie and Best and sitting Rice.

*Awaits backlash*

If Rice didn't catch a lot of passes, I would think this would be likely, let alone a possibility. He can hurt SHitt in the passing game though. You know I picked up both Beanie and DeAngelo Williams in my cap league because they are cheap, so there are worse options than playing matchup football in week 1 with Beanie and Best...look at what the Baltimore D did to the Jets in week 1 last year, their entire offense was a week 1 disaster. Same could happen with Blatimore in week1 this year...it could be a 13-7 game.

Yeah, the more I think about it, I think they could have more production than Rice but would hate to feel like an idiot benching the #3 overall pick week 1.

With all this being said I will most likely go Rice and Best.

Beanie Wells (vs. Carolina) -- I am putting my money where my mouth is with Beanie Wells in Week 1. Wells is the starter and unquestioned featured back for the Cardinals and he should get off to a very fast start against the Panthers. Carolina was one of the worst run defenses in the league in 2010 and that is likely to continue this year as they have some definite issues in their front seven. Top linebacker Jon Beason may not be 100 percent and look for the Cardinals to use Beanie early and often. Last year Carolina was 10th against the run, allowing 124 yards per game on the ground and they gave up 20 rushing scores, second most in the league. I expect the Carolina offense to struggle in Cam Newton's debut, so look for Arizona to be in some very favorable offensive situations. With a legit quarterback in Kevin Kolb to help keep the defense honest, I expect Wells to top 100 total yards with a score this week, making him a great play for your teams. (Projection Snapshot: 93 yards rushing, one TD; 21 yards receiving)

This was on cbssports...

I read that. Only problem is he does not get a lot of passes or goal line opportunities compared to the other two.

It's also just one dude's opinion...don't get me wrong, I like Wells, I really do, in week 1. I just think Best could have a big one, he is more explosive and the Detroit offense is a lot better this year. But it's week 1...it's all a crapshoot anyway.

Exactly, I expect Wells to have a good year, but I will probably bench him for two reasons. One, I like the Best matchup and know he will get almost all the carries, and I want to wait and see how Arizona uses Beanie this year.

10 team draft I just completed. Pretty happy about it. 2nd overall pick in a snake draft. PPR.

2 Arian Foster, Hou RB
19 Calvin Johnson, Det WR
22 Steven Jackson, StL RB
39 LeGarrette Blount, TB RB
42 Dwayne Bowe, KC WR
59 Vernon Davis, SF TE
62 Kenny Britt, Ten WR
79 Matthew Stafford, Det QB
82 Mark Ingram, NO RB
99 Julio Jones, Atl WR
102 Mike Tolbert, SD RB
119 Lee Evans, Bal WR
122 Patriots D/ST D/ST
139 Danny Woodhead, NE RB
142 Kyle Orton, Den QB
159 Sebastian Janikowski, Oak K

I may have reached on Britt but WR's were going fast and he was ranked highly on ESPN and I like his upside this year and I needed another WR. Like the Jones, Evans, and Pats picks.

Correct, I was referring to the actual homosexual. Ward is going to be bad this year, and I would wait until I see what Dalton and Green can do before I play him. Marshall is a definite and I wouldn't think twice about going Braylon before the other two.

edit: Lee isn't a bad decision either, but his projections for this week are all over the place. Might be worth it if you can take the risk.

I decided to start Braylon & Marshall. I just don't like Ward/Evans going up against each others defenses. That game is never a high scoring affair.

I have AJ Green as my keeper pick so I have him for 3 years. I have a bunch of mediocre/above average WR's but not true "stars" statwise. I think Marshall is a stud but he's got Henne throwing him the football.

My QB and RB positions are stacked though thankfully.

Marshall is a stud, they just couldn't get it going last year. 1 fucking touchdown.
