Fantasy Football Advice

About to drop my 5th in a row if devonta Smith/Curtis Samuel dont do something in 2nd half. Guy I'm facing has Brian Robinson and Wash apparently is going to give him 30+ touches...sheesh

Sorry man. I just came in to say it feels like the first time in my life something went my way in random plays on MNF. I was against Samuel but had Gibson down like 10 points. That penalty wiped Samuel's catch and on the next play Gibson caught me a pass that won the game by 0.1 points lol. Prayers up for no stat corrections though, legit couldn't have been any closer.

I'm in two different 12 man leagues that are brutally tough every year...somehow am 9-1 in both and in 1st place. By far the best (or luckiest) I've ever been this year.

i was up 117.75 to 114.35 on the final play of the game and stupid ass devonta smith laterals the ball backwards 14 yards! so not only does his rec yds go down from 53 to 39 he is charged a fumble lost as well....i freaking tied 114.35-114.35

So by the start of week 10, I've either lost for the season or for significant time.

- QB1
- RB1
- WR1 (Kupp now)
- WR3 (Mike williams)
- Cole Kmet I dropped after week 3
- WR2 (Amon Ra has been banged up since week 3)
Backup TE - Njoku has been hurt the last 3 weeks
Backup WR3 - Hardman was out last week and looks like he'll be out a couple more.

Just an unreal year for injuries. I'm sunk at 3-7, After starting off 2-0 no less.

I think this pretty much all but closes the book when it comes to retiring from fantasy football. Had a hell of a run. My first ever pick was LT in that magic 2006 season, lot of fond memories. Then a few bad ones - losing a championship to a Peyton Manning come back in the 2nd half and tossing 2TDs against the Bengals. Only to watch Jeremy Hill be a first down away from me winning the belt. I lost by 1.15 that year and it still stings. Entire league got together at a friends house to watch that game too. Great times.

Good luck to all of you who stay on to fight the good fight. Feel free to tag me at any point if you think I can contribute. Just because my FF days are done, doesn't mean I'm done with the NFL as a profitable venture.

PPR League

RB (2): Pierce, Pollard, Brian Robinson
WR (3): Jefferson, AJ Brown, Pittman, Cooks, Pickens, Toney, DPJ, Marquise Brown
Flex (1)

Current lean:
RB - Pierce & Robinson
WR - Jefferson, Brown, Toney
Flex - Pollard
  • Pierce, Jefferson & Brown are automatic starts.
  • I'm hoping Robinson sees the volume that he did last week, having better results against a horrendous Houston run defense.
  • I'm having a hard time trusting Pittman against the Eagles secondary. I think they bounce back after a letdown last week, along with facing horrendous QB play.
  • Toney should see increased volume with JuJu likely being out & Hardman now on IR.
  • Saw a brief clip of Marquise doing drills in practice & he looked good, though I'd assume he's on the wrong side of questionable & they don't play until Monday night.
  • Cooks, bleh.
  • Pickens - some upside & it seems like they want to get him more involved, but I like the upside of Toney more & trust the volume Pollard will get at Flex (even if Zeke is back)
  • DPJ - upside is there, as they'll likely have to throw a good amount, but ehhh.
Thoughts?

Agree on points 1-4.
I don't own any shares of Hollywood, so I haven't followed his injury at all. If Kyler is going to be out again, I'd be a little hesitant there.
I think your choice comes down to Pickens vs Pollard. I think you're right in leaning Pollard. He should be able to hold his own, plus the possibility that Zeke tries but can't finish the game. I also see the Dallas/Minny game having more points scored than Pitt/Cincy.

RB (2): Pierce, Pollard, Rachaad White, Brian Robinson, AJ Dillon
WR (3): Jefferson, AJ Brown, Pittman, Pickens, DPJ, Zay Jones
Flex (1)

Leans:
RB - Pierce & Pollard
WR - Jefferson, Brown, Pickens
Flex - White

I'm debating between Pickens & Zay Jones as my 3rd WR. I think Diggs will shadow Pittman & Matt Ryan may not have much time to throw the ball any way.
I'm not sure how I feel about White at flex. Fournette expected back this week & the Saints aren't the greatest matchup to begin with.

Thoughts?

Not sure how much Rachaad White plays with Fournette coming back… other than that I’d lean Robinson or Dillion (I think he’s getting more touches)
for the WR:
you’re looking at Pickens vs Atl, Pittman vs Cowboys, and Jones vs Det… I’d agree with Jones here followed by Pickens … i’d stay away from Pittman..
Lamar Jackson or Mike White?

I dont have that option but I’m riding with Lamar

Fighting to not be in last place.

That's the highlight of my season for the most part. Hopefully everyone else is doing better than me.
My auto pick team (I adjusted the rankings) has me in 3rd right now and locked in for the playoffs… trying to navigate my lineup for this week as Lamar is out, and Mixon is coming back

QB: Lawerence, Huntley, White
RB: Set (D Cook & Pollard)
WR: Wilson, D Johnson, Moore
Flex: Perine, Hunt, DeAndre Carter or waiver wire
D: Bills.

looking for suggestions @Buckeneye @BuckeyeNation27 @MD Buckeye @brodybuck21 for QB, WR (Johnson is the only ?), Flex and D…
