Fantasy Football Advice

I need some advice. I have Jamaal Charles, so I'm looking at a big fat hole in my team that should be winning every game. I also have Larry Fitzgerald, who I think is playing out of his mind and will come back to earth soon....combined with the inevitable Carson Palmer injury. Does it make sense to trade Fitz, or is that too reactionary? I've got Randal Cobb, Pierre Garcon, Anquan Boldin, Stevie Johnson, and Markus Wheaton....and we start 3.

The guy I'm looking at needs WR help and has Devonta Freeman, Eddy Lacy, Mark Ingram, and TJ Yeldon....so he's looking to trade. Each of those guys to me has their question marks. Is Devonta Freeman really that good? Is Lacy going to play like he was expected to at some point? Are the Saints going to be able to score any points?

Do I hold pat with Cobb and Fitz, or try to replace Charles with a stud? It doesn't have to be with this guy....I'm sure other people would be open to trade for Fitz.

You'd be making yourself thin at WR, but if you can get Lacy for Fitz straight up I think you have to do it. Lacy's still a very good back in an elite offense... and if you remember last year, he started extremely slowly for 4 weeks before going off for the rest of the season. The rest of the schedule for GB is EXTREMELY friendly for RBs [Den, Ari, Oak are the only three run D they face that are in the top 15 in run D DVOA].

I don't know that I'd do Fitz straight up for any of the others, but it might actually work to your favor to do something like Fitz + Wheaton for say Yeldon + WR from his team that is actually usable. Wheaton peaked last week with his TD and you're going to want depth.

I'd rank his RBs, in terms of desirability, as Lacy, Freeman, Yeldon/Ingram. But I wouldn't be surprised if he valued Freeman way more highly. I'd start trying for Lacy and then go to whichever person he values lower aka you can get more cheaply between Yeldon and Ingram.

PPR league or normal?
Were you able to nab either of KC's backups?
What are you other backs?

Stay away from Ingram, the other 3 are solid and value is in the order you listed

.5 PPR
I had West set as my #1 waiver priority, but noticed Theo Riddick on the wire, so I put him at 1 and West at 2. I got Riddick, but not West. Knile Davis was already rostered.
I have Frank Gore, Lamar Miller, Andre Ellington, Matt Jones, and now Riddick.

riddick over west :yow1:

With you having to play 3 wr's holding onto Fitz wouldn't be the worst play but if the guy would give up Freeman or Lacy for Fitz you almost have to do it b/c both are top 5 potential backs. Freeman you of course have to worry about Coleman stealing carries but I'd say DF has won the job handidly in ATL. Lacy has started off slow but I fully expect him to pick things up as the season progresses.

Riddick gets lots of short shit passes, so I'm hoping he can do something with that. I don't know what to expect from West. He's no Charles.

^^^ Hope you went with Bortles. I did. If Jax didn't have a bye next week, I would have already dropped Manning. I might still because there are better FA options out there.

What's the deal with this Christine Michaels kid? Is he legit? I've got RB bye week hell this go around and wasn't really impressed with West out of KC. Is he worth taking a flyer on for a spot start?

Also have AJ Green on a bye so I need three WR's out of Garcon, Tavon Austin, Golden Tate, Stefon Diggs, Allen Robinson. I could start 4 with the FLEX. RB's available are West, Dion Lewis, Ryan Matthews, and this Michaels kid.
