Yo, I'm going to be out here struuuuggling for a Running Back in Week 9.

Gore and Reggie Bush on Byes. Got Deangelo Williams as my only fill-in currently. Any names I should keep an eye out for, if available? Should I sneak ahead and grab now? Wait for one more week of injuries and just grab a fill-in next week?

Throw out anything. I'm desperate.

See if any of these guys are available on waiver wire: Helu, Chris Ivory, McGahee or Ogbonnaya, Pierce (last resort), Daniel Thomas, Mike James (get him if didn't get picked up this week)...

Picked up Ivory this week (to play Week 9 against New Orleans).

Thought about Helu (still available actually), but don't like his Week 9 matchup and not sure if I'd play him otherwise. I don't know. Maybe.

What's the deal with Doug Martin? I thought I read that he was done for the year so I dropped him and now it sounds like he isn't. I'm #1 in waivers so I can pick him back up. Should I or would it be a waste of my waiver spot?

I think the jury is still out on how long he'll be out. When does your waiver claim on him reset? I'd wait till the last possible second to reclaim him to see if any timetable comes out. I also have martin in a league, but I haven't dropped him yet. You gotta pretty much wait till IR is designated to drop guys like that. (I burned myself doing that last year)

The good news is that Tampa bay is run worse than the browns now so it's not like he's a premier back anymore... Shame.

I think I have till the end of the day to pick him back up. Deep benches so If I don't get him someone else will pick him up until he would go on IR. At least Steven Jackson is coming back in the next week or two and I have Moreno and Lamar Miller. I just picked up Jonathan Stewart as well since it sounds like he might be coming back from injury.

Another question. Someone wants offers for Ray Rice. Would offering Steven Jackson for Rice be a bad move for me?

I just tried. Forgot that you can't pickup someone that you drop until they clear waivers. :smash:

Lesson learned. Wait for IR to drop a player. Luckily I drafted a bunch of RB's even though Martin was my #1 pick.

So I made a trade last night...

I gave Trent Richardson and Jordan Cameron for TY Hilton and J. bell (don't care about him).
I also have Gronkowski and picked up Jordan Reed off waivers for the sole purpose to trade Cameron. With Cleveland's revolving door policy of shitty qbs I don't think I can trust Cameron anymore, plus he had same bye week as gronk.

I then pulled Le'Veon Bell off fa (can't believe he was there); I think he's at least as good as Richardson going forward.

Here's my team going toward the playoffs - standard (5-2 currently)

I think that looks damn good, aside from being too philly dependent. Should I look to make any more moves? Maybe for an elite qb?
