Fantasy Football Advice (2009 Season)

mross34

Rock, Flag, and Eagle
I was surprised to see there wasn't one thread dedicated to fantasy advice for the season. Maybe it's because people on here don't need advice or maybe it's because no one cares enough to ask. But personally I thought it might be useful. I hope others do as well.

Now of course, I didn't start this thread without my own selfish motives.

I'm pretty confused this week. Not really sure how to handle my lineup.

.1 for a yard (rushing, receiving), 6 points for a TD (rushing, receiving, return), no points for receptions.

I need 2 WR, 1 RB and a flex out of these players:

RBs
Rashard Mendenhall vs. SD - Willie Parker is out today. Looks like Mendenhall will get the start.
Fred Jackson at Miami - Marshawn Lynch is back this week.
Clinton Portis vs. TB - Upgraded to probable (ankle spurs)
Donald Brown vs. Seattle

WRs
Jerricho Cotchery at NO
Mike Sims-Walker vs. Ten - Troy Williamson is out. Sims-Walker looks like Jag's #1
Wes Welker vs. Baltimore - Upgraded to probable (knee)

Right now I have Mendenhall, Jackson, Cotchery and Sims-Walker in but with Welker and Portis upgraded to probable, I'm not really sure what to do.

Jerome Harrison (vs. Cincy) is out there as a free agent, tempting with Lewis and Davis both out.
Ladell Betts is also out there as a handcuff to Portis if need be.

The only player really "droppable" I have but haven't listed yet is Beanie.

[obligatory ego fluffing]I started this thread because there's a ton of people on this site who obviously have football knowledge that is to be respected.[/obligatory ego fluffing]

Any advice you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thoughts?
