I am sure that the pc literate crowd here will be more than welcome to help you out if you email them pics. I am sure they will house them all you want

And thanks for the info on Aventura. Much appreciated!

So where did you stay? It is one of the places I found while doing research on possible honeymoon locations. It seemed like a great location but not the usual place like most honeymoond hotspots. I was looking at either Secrets or Aventura Palace.
When are you going? We booked ours for 5/30-6/8 for the Secrets Excellence. It is the newer Secrets resort, started up in Oct. Our travel agent talked us out of the Aventura because of the "pond".

The wedding is next spring. So got plenty of time to plan. Plus I was successful in fighting off an October wedding... can't miss any Buckeye games

You could always post the unedited ones here in the RR...and you should...

I have been to the Riviera Maya twice now...once to the Aventura for my honeymoon, and once to a less expensive place (can't remember the name). The Aventura kicks ass. The beach didn't bother me because I don't like swimming in the ocean anyways. That huge pool they have kicks ass, and the food was amazing. I also took two free trips (snorkeling and diving) which both rocked, and had a blast in Playa del Carmen. I went the year before it became the Aventura Spa Palace, so I'm not sure what differences there are now from when I went, except I believe the place is twice as big. I actually won an all expenses-paid trip there in a poker tournament a couple of weeks ago, and can't wait to go back. Compared to the other place I stayed, the Aventura kicks ass. The only other ones I would recommend is the Xpu Ha (or whatever) that Babe mentioned, plus there is a newer resort a little further south...not quite sure of the name, but it's right next to one of the ruins.
