  • CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb recently had to play defense at his offseason home in Chandler.

Fans hung a Cardinals flag Thursday, and McNabb laughed it off and even left it hanging. Then the fans returned Saturday and left a cardboard box in the driveway with "Go Cards" written on one side and "Beat Philly" on the other. McNabb laughed that off, too, when he discovered it at about midnight, Favazzo said.

But McNabb stopped laughing when he went outside Saturday morning, smelled diesel fuel and realized someone had burned Cardinals cheers into his lawn, causing about $2,000 in damage.

Favazzo said officers found an address label on the box that had been left, and it led to Chandler resident Rex Perkins, 37, who later admitted to the pranks.

    Dumbasses. :slappy:

And doubtlessly the fucktins at ESPN will do yest a new 30 minute special on how fucking funny Phily fans are, just like pelting Santa Claus with projectiles and booing Michael Irvin when he might have been paralyzed. Wow, they burned a man's property, which if it got out of hand could have killed his wife and kids? Awesomely funny!!!!!111!!!!

No offense to real Philadelphia fans, and I know there are a lot of you, but these kind of assflamingos deserve derision and prosecution, not ESPN making them into lovable grumps.

If I'm not mistaken they were Cards fans showing how well they are handling success, not Philly fans.

My apologies to Phily for the rant, but my point about these people deserving derision and prosecution when fires can get easily out of control stands.

    I think the police agreed.

"Perkins and Hanlon were fingerprinted, photographed and cited for misdemeanor criminal damage."

The only way I could tell was that Philly fans would'nt have dicked around with the first two "cute" little pranks. They would have gone straight to trying to burn down his house(which is probably why he's out in AZ right now and not Philly).

Looks like this isn't your stop

I don't think there was any fire at all. Diesel fuel, when applied to a lawn, "burns" the grass. It just fucking kills it. "Scorches" it, if you will. You don't have to light it for it to be effective. In fact, if you aren't concerned about the Ohio EPA, you can always mix just a bit of diesel fuel into your weed killer. Those fuckers won't stand a chance.

Eh, fuck it. If you're going to go down, go down in flames (er, not that there were any flames here, but)...

I OWN this fucking train! :slappy: :!

Some Panthers fans vandalized Jake Delhommes house when he threw 5 picks against the Cards. Really pathetic it ever comes to that, especially because Jakes already got it hard enough with all the blame he's put on himself.

Don't know why anyone would do this.

    I do.

    It's because people suck.

    I hate people.
