The World's Favorite Hobo
Today we went to the zoo as usual in the morning. For the first time in my 2 years of visiting the Wolverine was out where he could be seen (we go nearly every weekend). He was running around and jumping on trees. My girls loved it!

As we're walking out there is a family with a 2-3 year old boy coming up, the boy was running to see the wolverine. The father stopped the kid before he got to the exhibit and told the boy, "remember, wolverines are Ca-Ca". He didn't let the kid see the damn zoo animal. Now that's dedication, albeit a little extreme.

On a side note anyone know all the plans for the zoo and waterpark expansion specifically? I've read a bit here and there but don't know specifics.

Don't forget where you came from...just because kids born today are born into the world of Jim Tressel where the Buckeyes own the Wolverines, don't let them forget where we have come from, and that Michigan is a piece of shit.

Actually, funny thing happen to me at the store this weekend.

My oldest daughter saw a display for Norte Dame stuff. She made the comment. "Ohio State would kick thier butts' (While pointing at the ND stuff.) Yeah, I have her firmly intrenched in OSU football...

This grown man started mouthing off at my nine year old daughter. So, being a mom. I tell her, that it isn't nice to make comments like that outloud. No matter how TRUE they were. Which leads to this man jumping in on me. My daughter, who is a lot like a bulldog with a bone, looks at him and says 'MY MOMMY says that Norte Dame sucks' (Thank you god, for not giving children the ability to sugar coat anything.) Needless to say, the guy didn't take that comment lightly. We got into a My team will beat your team argument. And I think we both proved, while children are expected to say what is on their mind when it's on their mind. Grown adults have the ability to act just as childish over football. :)

I haven't seen anything recently on the expansion. I use to have a Beastly Banner here somewhere that talked about future openings and stuff. I'll try to find it.

I remember telling my mom once that the Columbus Zoo had a real wolverine on display, and she asked, apparently serious "Do people throw stuff at it?".

When I went to the zoo a few years ago they actually had two of them . . . and they happened to be screwing. Fookin' scUM whores . . .

I brought it up. He of course used the, that was last year. So, I said oh, wouldn't it be great to face off in the NCG...then I said 'oh, wait. Didn't Notre Dame lose already this year? Followed quickly by, As much as I hate Michigan, I cheered for them when they played ND.

Really, my children watched as their mother got caught up in a My team is better than your team match. Quite sad in a way. lol
