what's up with the student lottery? When are they going to announce the students who have won? First I heard Monday night, then I heard you would be notified by e-mail Tuesday. Now we're going on Wednesday and I still haven't heard anything. Students received an e-mail stating that you would be notified one way or another. I'm chomping at the bit here. Any info?????

I haven't seen another thread on the situation. Figured there would be a few more anxious students out there wondering if they were a few of the lucky ones that don't have to fork out 1200 bones for a ticket to the game.

I saw on an ESPN article that the University only allotted 1,100 tix for students out of the 16,000-17,000 tix they had. Over 6,000 students signed up for the lottery. The other 11,000 are going to alumni, sponsors, the athletic department staff, and the band. They want the Buckeye Nation to represent but they are giving tickets to a bunch of people that are going to sit on their hands the entire game just like the folks do between the 20's @ the shoe. This type of shit blows me away.

I'm surprised the ticket office agreed to mail facstaff tickets this year instead of requiring pickup at the game. Maybe they thought that would increase demand? FWIW, it's way down this year from facstaff as compared to last year from what I can tell.
