Interesting.

I also paid $62 per ticket for my 2 Alumni Tix, and that even included a handling fee, I believe.

And tickets are not "sold out" except to Alumni right now. They are just not available to the General Public yet. The home opener will have General Public ticket sales later in the Summer...Miami, OH went on sale last year about a month or more before the Season didn't they? Then each out-of conference game usually has a few tickets on sale a few days before the game from Hangonsloopy.com. But then that rarely happens once students are back in school. But check out my post stuck near he top of the Ticket Forum about Single Game Ticket Tips. You might find it helpful.

i was told they sell out, then the unused seats come back to the office as general public seats. so what are the odds that i could get 4 in a row on game day?

Probably pretty decent chance...and if not 4 right together in the same row, then at the very least 2 and 2 very close together in the South stands

I'm walking by the ticket window around 7:30 each Game Day morning, and if someone came with me who needs a ticket, we hop in line and are usually 25 to 35 people back...on a crappy, rainy day (vs. Illinois I think) there wasn't anyone waiting in line at all...vs anyone good, I wouldn't be there later than 7:00.

That will usually get you tix...vs a Texas or Michigan...you never know.
