Deshaun Thomas and Sam Thompson last played together in March 2013 when Ohio State bowed to Witchita State in the West Regional Final of the NCAA Tournament.

The two former Buckeye scorers are getting the band back together, however. The Charlotte Hornets announced their Summer League roster Tuesday, and Thomas and Thompson both made the cut.

Former Ohio State forward Deshaun Thomas is an Israeli Super Basketball League Champion.

Thomas' Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Glen Rice Jr.'s Tel Aviv Holon, 95-75, to win the championship Thursday night. Jake Cohen led Maccabi with 18 points.

According to sportsrabbi.com, Thomas missed his team's postgame championship celebrations due to a league-mandated drug test following the competition.

Thomas signed with Maccabi in July 2017. He averaged 11.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists a game in 2017-18.

DeShaun Thomas (6’7”-PF-91, graduated ’13, currently in Greece) led Panathinaikos to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked AEK (7-3) crushing them 111-79 in a derby game in the Greek A1 in Sunday night’s game. Thomas recorded 12 points and added 3 passes in a mere 18 minutes. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (9-0) is placed first in the A1. So far his team won all nine games in the Regular Season. It’s Thomas’ first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 11.9ppg and 3.9rpg in eight games.
