In what feels like a lifetime ago, Urban Meyer had never had a tailback rush for 1,000 yards.
Carlos Hyde broke through to become the first. And then, last season, Ezekiel Elliott made it two in two seasons.
Early in Saturday night's clash between Ohio State and Rutgers, Elliott did it for a second straight year, becomes Meyer's third in three years. But chasing some own personal accolades, later in the game, Elliott still needed some extra yards to get his thirteenth straight 100 yard rushing performance.
He did that and then some:
Go ahead and book your table in New York in December, Mr. Elliott.
