Ex-Cal star accused of sexual assault

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Charges will not be filed against former University of California football star Marshawn Lynch despite an Oakland woman's accusations that he choked, slapped and sexually assaulted her, prosecutors said Monday.

An Alameda County Superior Court judge granted a restraining order Friday to the woman, who described herself in court documents as Lynch's ex-girlfriend. Lynch was not at the hearing.

Lynch, 20, announced earlier this month that he was skipping his senior year at Cal to enter the upcoming NFL draft, where he is expected to be selected in the first round.

they way i see all these cases, i hope on of the two of them rots in hell. if he did something wrong, if she lied. doubt anyone but those two actually knows what happened...

This will likely raise some flags with NFL teams considering drafting him... I had heard he was pushing towards the top-10... Gotta believe he will be run through the ringer on interviews like Santonio was last year...

I dont really buy it... Marshawn was probably the classiest guy on the team. Hardest worker, nicest and most respectful guy.
