Ever won an award?

We've been asking some pretty negative questions that make us divulge naughty secrets about ourselves, so here's something positive. Have you ever won an award for any sort of achievement (sports, work, school, etc.)?

I won Western Buckeye League player of the year my senior year in High School Tennis.

hey, at least its not swim team.

I lettered in Football and Swimming this year. That would go for sports guess. Should letter in Tennis also.

I can't really think of much more.

Nothing sports-related, really. I did win most-improved golfer and some sort of "spirit" (a.ka. best benchwarmer) award my senior year.

In college I won best senior thesis in the history department, and this past year I won a teamwork award at work.

I can't really think of much more.

Yet your life has been so rich already.

Among the awards and similar shit I have received the best by far was the first. When very young entered an essay contest sponsored by a large candy company (Cadbury) - and won - the whole family and many friends shared in the prize of what I recall being a large case of chocolate bars.

I won Most Improved Defensive Player Award for my middle school football team in 8th grade, and numerous singing awards for competitions.

if we can re-live our HS days... I lettered in track 4 yrs, wrestling 3 yrs and football 3 yrs in HS

several awards while I was in management for things like improving sales, P&L's and crap like that... big deal, I got a little plaque... I threw them out when I left the business. :P

Some sporting awards that really do not mean that much to me. I did receive an award for saving a drowning kid once. I didn't realize anyone saw me do it. I received the award at a meeting. Some people I did not know saw it and contacted the local police department. My Mom framed the medal and it hangs on the wall of my office. That means much more to me than the sporting awards.
