hmm Lets see! CW has surrounded himself with a top not coaching staff and is out there recruiting harder than any ND coach has in say 10 years! CW has also been in touch with many ND greats getting thier opinions and getting them back on campus helping him communicate ND history with the present team.

C'mon BN27, give Weis a break. From us he should get all the respect that a coach who never played college ball, and kept himself in such great physical condition that he required stomach-stapling surgery, should get from potential student/athletes.

what is a 'top not coaching staff?'

is it a top staff that does not coach?

or a staff that coaches the kids to wear hairstyles reminiscent of the one worn by American Indians?

by the looks of the recent records, i would think that the Irish have had top not coaching staffs for at least the last 10 years or so...

if they're not coaching what are they doing?

are they a top waking the echoes staff?

personally, i hope they keep up the recent tradition of being a top not recruiting staff...

hopefully, for your sake, they don't become a top not scheduling staff, otherwise what else will you use as an excuse for your mediocrity...

sorry... couldn't help it... :p

Speaking of ND, I saw Jerry Faust at Cincinnati Moeller yesterday. Maybe he was there to wake up the echo...

But the last time I said Aaaahhhhhh shit, was yesterday when a guy we hired to dig out some bamboo a previous owner had foolishly planted cut the cable line. I'm without my high speed service till this afternoon. Boo hoos and sympathy cards will be accepted.

In the meantime I'm in the process of rewatching the 95 - 96 ND - OSU games. "I'm tired of hearing about Ohio State. Did they invent football? Is this suppossed to be a coronation?" Lou Holtz

Impressive indeed, Chief.
