Ever heard of the band MGMT?

I think you're both right. Their first album, Climbing to New Lows, was released under the name The Management. The other two albums are under the name MGMT.

I've spoken with their management (ha! no pun intended). They say "Management."

(Yes, former music writer and masterer of music and sequencer, still work with them, etc. Maybe the band is making a new "name" for themselves though)

Oh, and I'm curious to hear their second album as described earlier. Sounds interesting, and I haven't given it a shot yet. I first heard them in Newcastle, England, and haven't given them much thought since. . .

(Edit: I have never heard the guys actually describe themselves, so they could very well say M-G-M-T now, and I would then be very wrong, as they can obviously decide their own name.)

They're pretty good.

My favorite song by them is Congratulations, and their newest CD is their best, IMO.
