Espn's first round mock

Damn, if this comes true, I'll need to get a Braylon Edwards voo-doo doll in a Browns uniform too!

By the way, my Kellen Winslow doll worked really well, don't you think. I smashed that leg with a hammer in the second half of the Cowboys game, and look at what happened!

After all, I'm a Browns fan, but I just can't root for these jerk bags.

I've been in the I hate Braylon camp for a while, but I'm starting to come around. He is the best player in the draft (or so I hear), and if the Browns can get him in the first and Frye or Campbell in the second, they might be able to come up with some good offensive production for the foreseeable future.

I'm not doubting his skill. I'm not doubting KWII's skill. But, I just can't root for them.

By the way, I have a work buddy who saw KWII in a Cleveland Jillians shortly after he was drafted a year ago. Someone had the sack to play Hang on Sloopy, and supposedly he laughed and acted pretty cool about it.

I don't really want to hear stories about how he's being cool. I kind of like not liking him.

Yeah, me too. The fact that he's a big puss on Madden 2005, and drops every pass to him with the slightest amount of contact gives me a chuckle too. Until the game is on the line, and he drops one in the endzone, of course.

Dont see Campbell being there with 34, but I for one couldn't hate Braylon if he brings some wins to Cleveland.

Plus the fact that I've seen nothing to suggest that Braylon is a raging prick, like Winslow is supposed to be. I agree with your guess on Campbell, and I think that I would rather have Frye anyway.

It will be a cold day in hell before the texans get ronnie brown, but if they do i'll have a smile ten miles wide

I can't root for Edwards. I couldn't root for Leroy Hoard, or Kellen Winslow. I'll still want the Browns to win (usually) but I can still root against some players.

Did anyone see the preseason game where Winslow got CRUSHED by someone? I can't remember who, but he got up right away and started talking trash to him. What a shit-head!

I'm just curious ... but other than playing for scUM, why is there such a dislike for Braylon Edwards? I cannot recall anything he did that really irked me. Perhaps I am forgetting something he did, but I don't have the same distaste for him that I did for a couple other scUM playes (Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard, etc.)

To me, it's only slightly worse than the scUM part. He's no where near the level of Jeremy Shockey or Winslow, or Ray Lewis. But he's still scUM. AND, he wanted to be a part of the WORST tradition in college football. Maybe even the worst tradition in all of team sports: #1 jersey. It's like the coach saying, "It's a team sport. We need to all work together. Team Team Team. Team blah blah blah. Blah blah team blah bloob bleep blop. Oh, by the way, this guy is the most important guy on our team. The rest, you suck." The tradition sucks.

For some reason I don't really care if Edwards get drafted to Cleveland and the whole Scum thing......oh I know why...because we OWNED Scum while he was there!

I guess I would have some hatred for him if he dominated us during his four years but he didnt really.

Maybe that's what it is. Woodson, Howard, and Streets all made their impression on me by helping beat the snot out of us. If scUM had won last year and I had to see Edwards celebrating with a bouqet of roses, I probably would feel differently.

He also seemed to take the loss with dignity, unlike some players (Winslow). If Edwards had gone to the media crying about this or that, I suspect that I would feel differently about him.

That's true. Didn't he even say that the best defender he played against was AJ Hawk? Or best tackler? Or hardest tackler? Or something. The point is that he's giving the Bucks some good respect, in a rivalry full of trash-talking and heisman poses.
